In contrast to its western neighbour, Jackson, Bradley is a large, rural area in Southeast London. The area is bound by Commissioners Road to the North and the 401 to the South. It is located between the areas of Jackson and Old Victoria. This area is named for Bradley Avenue which runs through the middle of the neighbourhood and back into the City of London to the West.
There is little in the way of housing developments in Bradley as the area is mostly farmland and industrial plants. Driving along Bradley Avenue will reveal a few farms, farmhouses, and the Dr. Oetker factory just before hitting the Veterans Memorial Parkway. Bradley provides a green backdrop for the newly developing neighbourhoods of Summerside to its immediate West and Victoria on the River to the North as the City of London continues to expand further Southeast.
In addition to access to the highway system, Bradley also features a quiet road into London’s South end. Bradley Avenue runs South of Commissioners Road and parallel to it, providing direct access to the parks of Pond Mills and the commercial hub of White Oaks Mall and its surrounding stores.
