Southwood Real Estate

The Southwood neighbourhood is south of Cedar Street and it shares its western border with Cambridge’s boundary. St. Andrews Street runs from the southwestern corner of Southwood diagonally up to the northeastern corner. Southwood is southwest of Cambridge’s downtown core. This residential neighbourhood is mostly detached properties with different styles of bungalows and a range of two-storey housing options. Off of Cedar Street and St. Andrews Street, there are examples of row-style townhouses and other condo units available as well. Southwood is a pleasant place to go for a neighbourhood walk because the interior streets are quiet and often have access to a neighbourhood park.

Residents of Southwood can experience quiet suburban life while enjoying the convenience of Cambridge. There are schools, churches and community buildings throughout the neighbourhood. Cedar Street and St. Andrews Street both offer additional businesses and shopping opportunities and the downtown core of Cambridge is just five minutes away.
