Preston South is a subdivision of Cambridge’s northwestern Preston area. Preston was an independent community before Cambridge’s amalgamation in the 1970s, so it has its own downtown area.

Preston South Real Estate:

Preston is located south of the 401 and the Speed River, north of the Grand River and just east of where the two rivers meet. The further subdivision of Preston South refers to the area of Preston south of King Street East and west of Concession Road. South Preston has a bit more residential space than North Preston, but both have a similar style of house. There are more detached single-family properties in Preston South on average with fewer options for the different types of condo units.

Residents of Preston South enjoy the convenience of shopping along the downtown King Street to the north and along Hespeler Road further east past Lang’s Farm. On the south end of the neighbourhood, there are parks and trails that take advantage of the great views of the Grand River.
