Northwest Rural Brantford

Generally, the NW Rural area refers to the region of the 403 as it runs into Brantford. Since some of this area is outside of Brantford’s city border, it is sometimes considered a part of Brant County. Main Roads running through NW Rural are Hardy Road, Paris Road and Powerline Road. There aren’t many residential properties in this heavily rural area, it primarily forest, farmland and the occasional church or gas station. The area where Hardy Road meets Oaks Park Road is a business park housing more industry just outside of the city. The area south of Hardy Road features a network of trails, the Grand River and access to D’Aubigny Creek.

For residents of the NW Rural Area, accessing both Brantford’s northwest end and Paris, Ontario are equally convenient. The northwest end of Brantford features golf courses on the outskirts and a commercial core along King George Road. Paris, Ontario has more shopping and dining options for a change of scenery.
