North Ward is a central Brantford neighbourhood located just west of the downtown core and north of West Brant and the Grand River.

The neighbourhood is bound by the rail tracks in the north, West Street to the east, the Grand River to the south and St. Paul Avenue to the west. Brant Avenue runs right through the centre of the North Ward neighbourhood as a main road. The residential areas of the neighbourhood have a mix of semi-detached and detached properties as well as some condo unit options.
North Ward is nearby to the conveniences of Downtown Brantford, but still offers a bit of distance and reprieve. The neighbourhood’s central feature is the large and forested Spring Street Buck Park. In the south end of the neighbourhood, residents can enjoy access to the Grand River and the SC Johnson Trail.
