McGuiness Brantford
This subdivision is defined by McGuiness Drive which forms a crescent shape on the north side of Shellard Lane. The subdivision is bound by the D’Aubigny Creek Wetlands to the north and Shellard Lane to the south. This subdivision is mostly residential with a break in housing for schools, parks and commercial areas along Shellard Lane. McGuiness is a newer subdivision with options for bungalow and two-storey floor plans. Some areas of the subdivision have semi-detached houses as well.
Residents of McGuiness have much of what they need along Shellard Lane and Colborne Street West. Just south of the residential areas, there are schools, public parks and even some restaurants. North of McGuiness, the D’Aubigny Creek Wetlands and trails serve nature lovers and explorers alike.
