Brookfield Brantford
The Brookfield area sometimes also includes Cainsville, a community on the border between the City of Brantford and Brant County. The Brookfield area refers to the rural and residential areas between Garden Avenue to the west, Brant County Road 18 to the north and east and Colborne Street East to the south. This area includes the newer development on Brantford’s east side around Bilanski Farm Road and Stephenson Road. In the dedicated residential subdivisions, homes are more recently constructed with a variety of large, two-storey floor plans. In the more rural area along Johnson Road, properties are more spacious on large lots with generous acreage and tree-cover privacy.
While Brookfield is located on the outskirts of Brantford, the city is developing quickly in the east end. There are plenty of shopping, dining and other local businesses located along Colborne Street East to the south and other amenities further into Brantford to the west. Additionally, there are more shops, restaurants, and community buildings in nearby Cainsville.
