Arthur Brantford

Arthur refers to the very southern section of East Ward. The area is from Arthur Street south and matches up with East Ward’s eastern boundary at Iroquois Park, its southern boundary at Greenwich Street and the Mohawk Canal and its western border with Clarence Street South. This area is mostly residential with a handful of corner stores and the large Shallow Creek Park wrapping around the southern and western ends of Arthur. Houses in Arthur are generally older, detached properties. Some newer development sites in Arthur added condominium units and apartment buildings.

Arthur has a great foot score. Residents can walk to local corner stores or a little further north to Colborne Street and Dalhousie Street for a taste of great local restaurants and stores. Walking south brings residents to Shallow Creek Park which offers trails that travel alongside Mohawk Creek. By driving or taking public transportation, the Downtown Core and Icomm Market are not far from Arthur, either.
