Believe it or not, the Thames River was a location of great importance during the War of 1812 between the United Kingdom and Tecumseh’s Confederacy. Now, it’s a welcoming, wonderful river full of rainbow trout; up closer to the estuary, you can find bullheads and even walleye.
When it comes to schools, there aren’t many in the area. The closest school is Tigger’s Tots Day Care, where your young children will be safe while you’re at work. Parkview Public School is the next closest school, and it offers clean hallways, friendly staff, and an outstanding curriculum.
